- Soundtrack Highlights from ›Les Misérables‹ von Claude-Michel Schönberg: Eine kraftvolle symphonische Bearbeitung durch Jay Bocook der Musik des preisgekrönten Films »Les Misérables«, basierend auf dem Broadway-Klassiker. Dieses Medley enthält den neuen, für den Film komponierten Song Suddenly zusätzlich zu den bekannten Melodien: At the End of the Day • I Dreamed a Dream • Master of the House • Castle on a Cloud • Do You Hear the People Sing?
- Pie In The Face Polka (Clarinet Section Feature) von Henry Mancini: Aus dem Filmklassiker »The Great Race« mit Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon und Natalie Wood ist hier ein Mancini-Juwel zu hören, das in der denkwürdigen und kulminierenden Kuchenschlachtszene vorkommt. Dieses unterhaltsame Arrangement von Johnnie Vinson kann für die gesamte Klarinettengruppe, für einige wenige Spieler oder sogar für einen Solisten verwendet werden. - Symphonic Suite from ›Star Trek‹ von Michael Giacchino: Begeben Sie sich mutig in musikalische Welten, die noch nie zuvor eine Band bereist hat! Der Blockbuster-Film von 2009 bietet spektakuläre neue und aufregende Themen in einem dramatischen Soundtrack von Michael Giacchino. - The King of Swing von Benny Goodman: Die Musik von Benny Goodman war die treibende Kraft, die Mitte der 1930er Jahre die Swing-Ära einleitete. Mit den bekannten Hits Let's Dance • Stompin' at the Savoy • Moonglow • Sing, Sing, Sing ist dieses energiegeladene und gut gespielte Medley von Paul Murtha eine angemessene Hommage an den ›King of Swing‹.
- Symphonic Dances from ›Fiddler On The Roof‹ von Jerry Bock: Dieses bahnbrechende Broadway-Musical beinhaltet wunderbare Tanzsequenzen mit einzigartigen ethnischen Stilrichtungen. Vom mitreißenden To Life und Tradition über die zarte Chava Sequence und Perchik and Hodel Dance bis zum charakteristischen Wedding Dance (Bottle Dance) ist dies ein großartiges Werk für das reife Ensemble – arrangiert von Ira Hearshen.
