- Nimrod (aus: Enigma Variations) von Edward Elgar: Dieser ›Adagio‹-Satz aus den »Enigma-Variationen« ist eine hervorragende Gelegenheit für Bands in der Entwicklungsphase, um an Klang, Verschmelzung, Intonation und Dynamik zu arbeiten. Jay Bocooks Arrangement dieses klassischen Werkes sollte in der Bibliothek jeder Band zu finden sein.
- Above and Beyond von Robert Buckley Farlee: »Above and Beyond« ist eine mitreißende Ouvertüre, die vor Energie und Enthusiasmus strotzt und als feierliches Stück geschrieben wurde – eine Hommage an die Suche nach dem Außergewöhnlichen und den Wunsch, mehr zu tun, als verlangt wird. Das Werk des Komponisten Robert Buckley Farlee ist um drei verschiedene Themen herum aufgebaut, die organisch entwickelt werden, und enthält kraftvolle und triumphale Melodien, treibende Perkussion, dynamische Kontraste und ein wunderbares ›Cantabile‹. - Vallum Hadriani (Hadrian's Wall) von Jay Bocook: In der Antike war der ›Hadrianswall‹ eine römische Festung, die sich 73 Meilen lang durch Nordengland erstreckte und die Grenze zwischen dem römischen Britannien und Kaledonien im Norden markierte. Jay Bocooks einfallsreiches Werk für Blasorchester zeichnet sich durch römisches Flair sowie einzigartige Texturen und Effekte aus, darunter einen dramatischen Schwertkampf. Unverwechselbar und aufregend!
- Mountain Country Dances von Johnnie Vinson: Inspiriert von der musikalischen Tradition der frühen amerikanischen Folksongs, hat Johnnie Vinson diese attraktive Suite dreier kontrastierender Tanzstile geschrieben.
