- Pennsylvania 6-5000 von Jerry Gray & Carl Sigman: Dieser charakteristische Song des Glenn Miller Orchestra ist ein perfekter Hauch von Nostalgie aus der Swing-Ära. Alle Elemente des Originals sind vorhanden, einschließlich der berühmten Saxofonmelodie, Trompeten- und Altsoli und natürlich dem kompletten Band-›Gesang‹ »Pennsylvania Six-Five-O-O-O!«. Diese Version von John Berry macht es auch für jüngere Bands spielbar.
- This Can't Be Love von Richard Rogers & Lorenz Hart: Wunderschön arrangiert von Mark Taylor mit sanft gespielten Tutti-Ensemble-Rhythmen und einem Schlagzeuger mit Jazz-Besen liegt Ihnen hier eine auffallend wirkungsvolle Version dieses Rodgers & Hart-Favoriten vor. - Solar von Miles Davis: Eine der beständigsten Kompositionen aus der frühen Karriere von Miles Davis ist dieser Medium-Swing, der 1954 auf dem Album Walkin' aufgenommen wurde. In diesem großartigen Chart für jüngere Spieler verwendet Rick Stitzel am Anfang einige raffinierte Phrasenerweiterungen und wechselt dann das gesamte Ensemble mit Statements einer kleinen Gruppe ab.
