Piano, Vocal and Guitar transcriptions from the album recorded by the Spanish tenor, Placido Domingo, and also featured Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo Jr. , Josh Groban, Katherine Jenkins, and Vanessa Williams. The album is written on the poetry of Karol Wojtyla, who later became Pope John Paul II. He began writing poetry long before his papacy, when he worked as a quarry worker, and continued to do so throughout his life. Domingo wished to produce an album utilising some of these words, in respect for 'The greatest human being I have ever known'.
