Beschreibung:
On four notes - D-E-G-A flat -, an episodic humming runs through the background of the piece. On top of this comes a somewhat solemn rising gesture in the form of phrases that will cover the instrument's whole range, and of which the multiphonics must soon respect an accelerando and crescendo in a regular delivery. In contrast, another element, flexible, melodic, and expressive, follows descending curves. These rise up starting from two fixed notes, C#-B flat, which return obstinately, like a signal. Thus, two developments evolve in opposite directions, interrupting one another. A play of echoes is established from these components and puts them in perspective.
The piece calls for very colourful playing from the performer, with a palette of nuances as diversified as possible.
When listening to this music, no strong, mechanical beat should be perceived. The sounds evolve flexibly, like those in Nature.
The listener should not perceive any strong, mechanical pulse in this music. Sounds rather flow smoothly like the sounds of Nature.
