Fanfare Of Glory was composed for the city of Bergen (Mons) in Belgium when it was elected Cultural Capital of Europe in 2015. This city, with 100,000 citizens, is located in the French-speaking region of Belgium and the capital of the province Henegouwen. It is also home of NATO headquarters. The fanfare opens with a theme by the trumpets and horns and flows into a lyrical melody. It is a beautiful warm-up and opener.
