Leaden Sunlight was composed in homage to the 26 million men, women and children of all nations who died from hunger, cold, illnesses, torture, or murder in the Nazis concentration and extermination camps. We think especially of the Jewish people who paid, with 6 million victims, the price of Hitler`s criminal madness. This simple melody depicts the image of the small sunrays coming through the clouds giving the prisoners a tiny hope of delivery. With this composition we want to ensure that people never forget this barbarism but instead, through our universal memory, ensure that it can never happen again...
