Beschreibung:
Gone is all my strength / Old and weak am I' (Hin ist alle meine Kraft / Alt und schwach bin ich) It is with these words that Joseph Haydn, feeling the advance of years, began the song, Der Greis (The Old Man). The retiring nature of this charming song translates beautifully into the string quartet medium. Short yet poignant, this arrangement is a perfect concert encore. Easy to play, it will be enjoyed by students of all levels and professionals alike.
