The performance score for Breath, composed by Rebecca Saunders for Violin Duo in digital sheet music format [EP14720]. Breath by Rebecca Saunders, is a nine-minute work for violin duo exploring quiet timbral nuances against a canvas of silence. In eight sections, the work traces fragile, intimate and expressive fragments of a two-part melody. ‘Breath’ was commissioned by the Kunststiftung NRW and Musikfabrik, and was premiered by Hannah Weirich and Sarah Cubarsi on 19 November 2023 at the WDR Funkhaus, Cologne.
