Music Minus One presents a masterpiece concerto by Bach, who originally composed this classic 'triple' concerto for three violins, strings and continuo. We are happy to offer it as closely as possible to the original version, for three violins. We've also included separate recordings minus each of the three instruments, so you can choose which part you want to play!
This MMO learning and performance edition features virtuoso violinist Mario Hossen playing the primoviolin part, with Jacklin Preys and rosiza Chopeva providing second and third violin parts along with the Les Orpheistes Chamber Orchestra of Vienna. Includes an authoritative performance edition of the violin score, edited by Mario Hossen and newly engraved and printed on high-quality ivory paper. The CD contains the complete performance of the concerto, followed by a second version minus the soloist, as well as a slower-tempo version of the accompaniments for practice.
