Edvard Hagerup Grieg (1843-1907) is the most important, national-romantic composer from Norway. He is also the most famous Norwegian composer abroad. He composed the stage music for 'Sigurd Jorsalfar' in 1872. He edited three of the movements from 'Sigurd Jorsalfar' in 1892 and published the as 'Sigurd Jorsalfar Suite' in 1892.
