Beschreibung:
Mozart wrote The Magic Flute as a singspiel opera in two acts in 1791, when it received its first set of performances in Vienna, and from that time it has featured as one of the most popular works in operatic repertoire. Thislove duet, with its stuttering 'pa pa pa' occurs almost at the end of the opera, when the comical couple Papageno and Papagena finally are assured of each other's love. It is a light-hearted excerpt, appropriate for recital orencore.
