Beschreibung:
Mozart Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major was completed 9 March 1785, just four weeks after he wrote his D minor concerto.
Andante is the second movement in the concert and has been nicknamed 'Elvira Madigan' after being used in the Swedish film of the same name in 1967.
Most of the major pianists have made recordings of this work which is considered one of the great masterpieces in classical music.
To the conductor
The movement Andante is longer than in this arrangement. Originally, it consists of 3 parts of which orchestra plays the first part. This release for flexi band is a presentation of the themes, cut out from the original work. I recommend listening to a recording of Mozart's great composition.
