Cellular is a musical reflection on a personal experience with cancer. The moment one experiences this terrible disease a lot of stories pop up and people start sharing stories of their own or from their loved ones. Musically this piece is composed out of several modules (cells) which appear in the different parts. The miniature cells - mirrored in the many delicate harmonics - interact with each other. Despite the terrible nature of cancer, humanness, hope and the sense of togetherness prevail.
