Read his thoughts and analysis in orchestrating a full string accompaniment to the original solo guitar part, then rejoice in the addition of a Paganini concerto to the comparable standard repertoire! Handsomely published by Editions Orphee, the new Concerto is packaged as a set of full score and one each of the string parts, with a separately available solo guitar part with rehearsal CD. Lendle's changes to the guitar solo part are few, detailed neatly in his introduction, and the string parts are simple enough for a student string orchestra or string quartet. This piece includes several cadenzas, offered in the spirit of the composer and the work.
