Nostalgie Op. 78 for Guitar solo by the Danish composer Poul Rovsing Olsen (1922-1982). Composer's programme note: Nostalgie was composed in December 1976. In the four movements of the work the listener is confronted with music which flirts with recollections of not far distant albeit bygone times. The lyrically dramatic introduction is followed by a toccata, a Spanish dance, then a waltz. At times we are close to the past, then we are suddenly drawn away from it.
