In diesen Stücken entfernt sich Franck sehr von den Ursprüngen der Pavane; er führt antiphonische und dramatische Stimmungswechsel ein. Mittelschwer.

Wie in seinen sechsstimmigen Intradas lässt Franck in diesen Stücken eine Reihe kontrastreicher Abschnitte aufeinanderprallen. Mittelschwer.

Auffällig an diesen beiden Stücken sind die vielfachen Vorhalte und unvermittelten Stimmungswechsel, was eine entsprechend ausdrucksstarke Spielweise bedingt. Leicht bis mittelschwer.

Der Solopart der drei Konzerte û ursprünglich für die Sextflöte geschrieben und hier transponiert û ist nicht nur auf der Blockflöte, sondern auch auf Querflöte bzw. Piccolo ausführbar.
