Alle Noten von Ludwig van Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven (getauft 17. Dezember 1770 in Bonn, † 26. März 1827 in Wien) zog bereits im Alter von 22 Jahren nach Wien, um dort durch seine kompositorische Entwicklung die Brücke von der Wiener Klassik zur Romantik zu schlagen. Dabei ging Beethoven sowohl finanziell als auch gesundheitlich durch Höhen und Tiefen; der junge Pianist, der vor allem durch seine Begabung fürs freie Improvisieren zu beeindrucken verstand, musste ab dem Alter von 28 Jahren seiner sukzessive schwindenden Hörfähigkeit wegen das Klavierspielen weitestgehend aufgeben. Nicht jedoch das Komponieren!
Und so entstanden gerade in dieser für ihn schwierigen Zeit mit die wichtigsten Werke seines Œuvres, wie beispielsweise die ersten sechs seiner neun Sinfonien, drei Klavierkonzerte, sein berühmtes Violinkonzert op. 61 und die Streichquartette op. 59 Nr. 1–3, op. 74 und op. 95.
Beethovens Portfolio deckt fast alle Genres ab. So schuf er neun Sinfonien, die erstmals in dieser Gattungsgeschichte auch Chöre beinhalteten (aus der 9. Sinfonie wurde der Chor über F. Schillers Ode An die Freude seit 1985 in instrumentaler Fassung die offizielle Hymne der Europäischen Union), sechs Klavierkonzerte, sechs weitere konzertante Werke, drei Ouvertüren, die Oper Leonore (die in drei Fassungen letztlich als Fidelio in die Geschichte einging), zwei Ballette und fünf Bühnenmusiken, das Oratorium Christus am Ölberge op. 85, zwei Messen und vier Kantaten, ein Konvolut an Streichquartetten und -trios, Klavierquartetten und -trios, Violin- und Violoncellosonaten und weitere kammermusikalische Werke, 32 Klaviersonaten und weitere Klavierwerke sowie eine große Anzahl an Liedern inklusive des wunderbaren Liederkreises An die ferne Geliebte op. 98.

So können Sie auch gezielt nach einem Werk suchen, dessen Werkeverzeichnisnummer Sie kennen, beispielsweise in der Schreibweise beethoven op. 56, um zu unseren Klavierauszügen und Studienpartituren des sogenannten Tripelkonzerts, dem Konzert C-Dur op. 56 für Klavier, Violine und Violoncello und Orchester, zu gelangen.
